We kept wishing for one clean, well-organised place: the common presentations summarised the way you'd actually clerk them, and the emergencies turned into a calm tick-box you can follow under pressure. Nothing like that existed in our pockets — so we built it.
Every condition is a concise take with an example clerking plan — considerations on one side, plan on the other. Every emergency is a step-by-step crash guide that saves your progress as you go. It works on any device and stays available offline.
It's the handbook we wanted as students and on the wards — and we hope it helps you the way we wish something had helped us.
Webinars — live online sessions, about an hour, on a weekday evening, with time for questions at the end. Afterwards the whole session is written up as notes you can read here, free.
Nothing is lost. Every past session has full written notes on this site, free to read whether you registered or not, and you can join a series at any point.
The webinars are free and always will be. We never take a card to register, so there is nothing to cancel. The bleep.guide app is a separate, paid product.
Register and you also get the bleep.guide app free for 90 days. Your 90 days are a thank-you for registering, not a subscription. Nothing renews on its own — we never took a card. The webinars stay free either way.
No. Registering for a session needs nothing but your email address. An account is optional — it keeps the webinars free for good and makes registering for future sessions one tap.
Not at the moment. The written notes are the record, and they are published here free after every session. If a series does record its sessions, its page says so.
Open the series page and enter the email you registered with — that brings up your sessions and the joining link. You do not need a password.
Yes. Pick whichever sessions you want when you register, and come to one or all of them.

We were the F1s frantically working out what to do with a potassium of 6.8 on a night shift, piecing it together from a dozen tabs and a crisp-packet coloured handbook too big for our pockets. bleep.guide is the resource we wished we'd had: the things you actually reach, in one place, phrased as what to do next — fast, and usable with no signal.
No. Always follow your local hospital guidelines and seek senior input early. It's a rapid memory aid to supplement — never replace — your own clinical judgement. If something doesn't fit the patient in front of you or your own training, trust the patient, not the app.
Tap the cloud icon (top-right) to download the whole handbook for offline use — once saved it works with no signal, anywhere in the hospital. You can also install it to your home screen: on iPhone, Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, your browser will offer Install. It then opens full-screen like an app and boots instantly.
You get a free trial when you sign up — no card needed. After it ends you can subscribe monthly, and your access syncs across your devices. You'll always see how many days are left in the app, and we'll remind you before it runs out. You can run it on up to 4 devices at a time before we start asking you to log the old ones out.
Cancel any time from Account → Manage subscription. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then it simply stops renewing. If something's gone wrong with a charge, message us below and we'll put it right.
We are a small team, so small we are barely a team. Keeping the content accurate, current and genuinely useful takes real, ongoing work. Clinical writing, review, hosting and support costs money. If we could make as good an app free, we would. A modest subscription (less than half a coffee) means we answer to you, not to advertisers or sponsors, and we can keep improving it without selling your data or filling it with ads. The free trial lets you decide it earns its place first.
Your subscription covers you — you can stay signed in on up to 4 devices at once (say your phone, a tablet and a home computer). If you sign in on a fourth, we'll simply ask you to pick one of the others to sign out. It's per person, not per ward — sharing one login across a team isn't allowed.
Every account has a personal invite link — open Refer a friend from your account. When a friend joins with it they get an extended free trial, and you earn rewards as they come on board: the more colleagues you bring, the more you get. Fair use applies — please don’t refer yourself, we do check.
We hold only the basics needed to run your account (email, training grade, subscription status) and we never sell it. The Logbook is yours: it records only tallies and counts for your ARCP evidence — no patient-identifiable information should ever be entered — and you can export or delete all of it at any time from the Logbook settings. To protect our content — and the doctors who wrote it — each page carries a subtle, per-account watermark woven into the text. You’ll barely notice it in normal use; it just means that if pages are scraped or redistributed we can tell where they came from. It doesn’t affect printing or offline use.
Yes. Final-year students on placement and prepping for FY1 get a lot out of it, especially the clerking plans and emergency checklists. Sign up with your student details and add your graduation year in your profile — you get the same access.
